Dear Friends, We’ve all had our moments of self-doubt.  We’ve enthusiastically volunteered to head a committee, plan an event, and host 25 relatives for a get-together, only to feel overwhelmed in the process.  “Whatever possessed me?  I must have been out of my mind to say “yes” when I was asked!  I won’t do that again.”    No, of course you won’t - until next time!  Remind me – why am I doing this?

  I cannot stop until it’s finished – whatever finished may be.

  I started early so as not to be late. It made no difference that I was slow.

  Now I’m tired and still don’t know – Why am I doing this?

  Remind me – Why did I say I would?

  Good manners say I’m in ‘til the end – whatever the end may be.

  Others have dropped by the wayside. 

Others – but, no, not me.

  At the end of the day, you’ll hear me say, “I’ll not do this again.”

  Do you believe me?
