DECISIONS, DECISIONS

 Just after sunrise this morning, a hummingbird, foraging for breakfast, visited the shrimp plant and the blue salvia at the edge of the patio.  It was flying swiftly from blossom to blossom, hovering over one, rejecting the next, and moving on.

  Wouldn’t it be great if we could make decisions with such confidence?  Sometimes, before making a decision, I believe I think too much and other times, not enough.  Then there are the instances when I don’t seem to think at all!  My decision is intuitive – not that it makes it right, but, right or wrong, the die is cast.

  As we hover, accept or reject each opportunity, may we, like the hummingbird, learn to recognize what is best for us and move on with confidence to the next challenge.

  And speaking of moving on, do you remember the blog mentioning the starving children in China?  I’ve decided they are old enough to fend for themselves.  Now, I must decide how I am going to lose the weight I gained on their behalf. (It's about time!)
