A Writer’s Dilemma

Come right in and have seat.  I’ve been thinking (which can be dangerous) and have

come to the conclusion that a writer should never be more than arm’s length away from writing

material – even when you’re in bed.  On second thought, especially when you’re in bed.  When

Summer

DOWN BY THE CREEK

Me an'  Annie sittin' on the creek bank,
feet in the water,
minnows nibblin' at our toes.
Slick green slider sunnin' on a log
all peaceful like.
Jay bird in the tree makin' a fuss!
Swimmin' 'cross the creek
there's a snake!
Annie screams like the jay.
We run!
